"Vol. 0 - Research & Development" is the result of a personal growth/artistic journey that encompassed a wide spectrum of emotion, experiment and expression. Recorded on weekends over the course of some years, B_O_K strived to maintain a funky and consistent sound palette, letting go of sampled loops in favor of live instrumentation and turntablism.

The songs are grouped together into two parts, A side and B side, as a way of preserving the experience of listening to cassette or vinyl. For fanatics of 70's Jamaican Dub like himself, included is a dub version of the 7 tracks, compiled into sides C and D. 50% of profits generated by the album will be donated to the Environmental Defense Fund.
